Nagi Noda was a Japanese pop artist born in Tokio in 1973 who put her own unique artsy-girly high fashion sense on the international art scene map. She made several music videos for Japanese singers, commercial design, experimental videos and much more. I love her style and I think she was really talented.

Her death was apparently due to complications from surgery she had after a bad car accident last year. She must have known she was going to die, because she got dressed up for it—she was wearing a Mark Ryden dress, Chanel boots, and Viktor and Rolf black lace eyelashes.

Her website calls theses ‘hair hats’ which are styled into the form of various kind of animals such as a lion, rabbit, elephant, dog and many others using hand crafted hair weaves that are made using a mold or mesh of wire.

Also Donatella Versace dedicated her entire spring-summer 2009 menswear collection to him. The Italian designer said she was creating a style for "a relaxed man who doesn't need to flex muscles to show he has power".
